Mathewson Waters Architects is a medium-sized architectural practice headed by three partners working from its Lambourn (Berkshire) and Devizes (Wiltshire) offices.

MWA can deliver a total service from the initial consultation and evaluation through all the necessary processes to completion of your oak framed building.

MWA’s skills combine creativity and experience to explore and offer the client options and possibilities beyond the ordinary, reappraise the use of existing spaces, maximize the project’s potential and help consider ideas not necessarily immediately obvious.

MWA has a wealth of experience in designing and working on a wide range of buildings.  All of the practice’s designs, be it large, small, highly detailed or simple, will be designed specifically for each client and their requirements. The majority of MWA’s residential work encompasses:- houses, listed buildings, barn conversions, equine buildings, pools, house remodelling, annexes, interiors, home offices and garden rooms.

MWA’s Lambourn office is sited in the ‘Valley of the Racehorse’ and it has gained a reputation, as specialists, within the equestrian world as designers of buildings to cater for all types of equestrian activities.

MWA has a good reputation for success with Planning Approval, stemming from design skill, good relations with planning authorities and well presented submissions that work.  MWA still prides itself in producing many drawings by hand alongside the latest CAD technology and 3D computer modelling and visualisation software.
