The practice has experience of small-scale and large-scale projects, in both rural and urban environments.

Woodfield Brady can help you with:
- New homes
- Conversions
- Restorations
- Extensions
Woodfield Brady’s experience includes both designing new buildings and adding to buildings which already exist. For the latter, Woodfield Brady is highly experienced at handling projects which others can find problematic – due to the nature of working with older structures. This expertise includes the repair and conversion of existing timber-frame buildings and obtaining planning permissions and building consents for listed buildings in sensitive areas.
One of Woodfield Brady’s key strengths is the way in which the practice seamlessly combines the old with the new. Woodfield Brady’s measured approach draws the best from traditional and modern design to deliver homes which stand the test of time.
Nowhere is this stunning marriage of old and new more exciting than when combining a timber frame with crisp, new materials such as steel and glass; the honesty and timelessness of the timber frame takes on a new dimension when it becomes part of a structure that incorporates the best of today’s materials and technology.
Woodfield Brady’s approach is to fully understand the needs of each client: such as the current and future size of the family, their living needs and long-term aspirations. Woodfield Brady works with the client to develop living spaces which are both exciting and comfortable; functional and aesthetic. The practice has developed a reputation for innovation in solving architectural problems – helping people to make best use of a current building or the space where a new property will be constructed. Working in this way has also avoided Woodfield Brady adopting a standard ‘house style’ since each project is always approached on its unique merits to deliver a truly bespoke solution.
Perhaps more than anything else, Woodfield Brady has an enthusiasm for building design that delivers homes which are both practical and beautiful and continue to delight each and every single day.
