SPACE Designed Solutions Ltd was formed in 2002. The practice has worked on a wide variety of projects in many differing market sectors.

The practice comprises two partners, Lee and Emma, interior designer Helen, and the junior partner, Emma and Lee’s son, Harris. This small and friendly team believes strongly that they can help you to build the ideal space for you.

SPACE works very closely with you during the planning of your new home, investing lots of initial time talking through your aspirations and hopes for the build before committing pen to paper. What you are contemplating is usually the most expensive and involved process you are ever likely to undertake; SPACE really understands how challenging, exciting and daunting this can be. The practice believes great homes start from the inside out; SPACE consists of interior architects that create spaces tailored for your lifestyle.

SPACE offers a free initial consultation and then can take the project through from inception to completion, through the planning, building regulations, tender and project management of your new building.

SPACE Designed Solutions’ practice philosophy is that of in-depth consultation allied to intelligent and creative design ideas founded in years of practical experience. SPACE is a sensible and pragmatic advocate of green building technologies wherever appropriate, and has a keen interest in traditional building craft. The practice workload spans a fairly broad church of project diversity; SPACE has developed a special interest in the rescuing of listed buildings for new uses and commercial interior design of entertainment spaces.

Lee is a degree-qualified interior designer who later studied building surveying, and has worked for the last eighteen years in the construction industry in various architectural design and interior design capacities.

Emma has previously worked for a local firm of solicitors. Emma has a very keen eye for detail, and provides invaluable technical assistance and support to the business in general and your project in particular once commissioned.

Helen is the practice’s newest recruit. She studied interior design at Bath prior to joining SPACE in Autumn 2009. Helen is a highly creative person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and assists Lee with detailed drawing production when not running her own projects.

Harris is very small, and very interested in tractors, railway engines and combine harvesters and can advise you on such matters at great length.
