Contemporary oak-framed house near
Chichester, West Sussex
Elspeth Beard Architects is based in Godalming, Surrey, and much of the practice’s work involves the conversion of unusual listed buildings such as water towers, lighthouses, water mills and barns into striking and unique family homes as well as new oak timber-framed houses. The practice also designs one-off houses with large areas of floor-to-ceiling glass with contemporary living spaces but with the use of traditional materials. The practice has won numerous architectural awards for both conversions and new build projects.
Elspeth Beard Architects can provide a comprehensive service from the initial design stage right through to the completion of works and is happy to give clients as much (or as little) involvement in the whole process as they wish.
