Oak-frame architect profile CP Architects
The practice provides architectural services throughout Argyll and Islands, promoting site-specific design solutions which integrate renewables to provide energy-efficient new-build and refurbished dwellings within budget and programme constraints.

CP Architects was formed on 1 April 2004 after the mutual separation of Crerar & Partners offices in Oban and Edinburgh, and continues to provide the same services as before and operates from the existing premises at 110 George Street, Oban.
The former practice had been involved throughout the Highlands, Inner and Outer Hebrides for over 40 years and had a wide experience of all building types, including working in rural, coastal and remote environments. The new practice retains that experience. CP Architects is still very active throughout the Highlands and Islands area, engaged on a variety of commissions covering sectors of the industry – both large and small contracts, involving various procurement routes including feasibility studies, design and build, notation, traditional and partnering. Much of CP Architects’ work results from repeat commissions.
The practice has been involved in a variety of award-winning housing projects, both new build and refurbishment where sustainable design is at the heart of the project.
